Coldwater
Coldwater was formed in the fall of 2004 and has been building, learning and evolving into the beautiful harmonic entity that it is. The name "Cold Water" was inspired by the cool and calming feeling that the music evokes in the listener.
The Sound
Acoustic, warm and soothing... The Cold Water sound is a rainbow of blissful emotions that are translated into a musical arrangement. Voices blend into anothers, and instruments are soft and compelling. Informally addressed, Cody, Jeff, Kyle and McKenzie are the intricate musical vessels to their vibe.
Tours and New EP
Coldwater performed in Michigans "Blissfest" music festival in the Summers of 2005 and 2006, to much enthused audience's that were swept away in the harmony and musical euphoria. Also the song "Must Move On" was picked up by Thought Collide Productions to be shown on the movie series "InZero". They are currently working on their new EP and will be playing locally to promote its release by the middle of 2007. Be sure to check back for updates on upcoming dates. Coldwater currently works with Hollywood, Californias independent A&R firm, A&R Select, that is shopping their music for potential record labels, publishing and TV & FILM placement opportunities.
