I am attempting to become a somewhat proficient in a number of musical styles...really, I don't want to be one of those 'musicians' who knows just enough about a genre to get themselves into trouble. While my main focus is the guitar, I have been known to fool around with the following: Bass (guitar), Mandolin, Tenor Banjo, Piano, Bul Bul, Violin, Lap Steel...hmmm...accordian...not neccesarily in that order though. While I think I'd like to 'boldly go where no music has gone before', chances are, I wouldn't like what it would end up sounding like...so I'll try to stay with reasonable convention...probably ending up "sounding like all those other bands who claim not to sound like anyone else."I currently play in church on Wednesdays and Sundays, and whenever else an opportunity presents itself.
I'd like to meet people. Yeah, sure. Why not? If you are musically inclined, I'd be more likely to like meeting you than if you aren't. Do you like maj13th chords? 6/9s? The unusual and sometimes bizzare? (Did I spell that right?) If so, (not if I spelled that right...but if you like those fancy chords) then I may well be interested in some of the things you are.
