About Me

Jonathan Smith is a forthcoming jazz guitarist on the Portland scene. He plays local gigs and frequent jam sessions; and annually attends the summer Port Townsend jazz festival. Jonathan Smith & Friends performs as a jazz quintet featuring guitar, tenor sax, keyboards, bass and drums.Smith has studied with Dan Balmer, Bruce Forman, Bucky Pizzarelli, and Ron Eschete, among others.
