About Me

My first musical turn-on came from some old cartoon... I can't remember exactly, but I see Porky Pig as the conductor of an orchestra. He couldn't seem to get the cummerbund on his tux to stay down. Porky was at the podium, and all the instruments would sound on their tuning pitches, and then Porky kicked them into whatever piece it was. What got me the most was the sound of the tuning of the orchestra, and for years I wondered "Who wrote that?" Leaves and Twigs
