THE FORK was created by JAREK SZCZYGLAK in the small city of Ciechanow, Poland. In 2000 the first demo was recorded, which consisted of eleven songs. At that time THE FORK was Jarek (Vocals, Guitar, Bass) and Darek Swiech (Drums). A few months later they found a bass player, Jacek Gronowski from the band, “The Without.†In 2003 Jarek moved from Ciechanow to New York City. After only two months in NYC, Jarek met Marek Marchoff from the band “Different State†and they recorded six songs together. In February, 2005 Jarek found a drummer. His name was Jacek Milosz and they played together every weekend. At that time THE FORK was working on songs for the "Million Smiles" record. Soon after Kuba Doktor (Bass) joined the band. When they were ready to record "Million Smiles," Jacek Milosz (Drums) had to move to Florida. Now finding himself without a drummer, Jarek went home to Poland for a few weeks and recorded drums with an old friend from first version of THE FORK, Darek Swiech. The rest of the album was recorded back in NYC with Kuba. THE FORK tried out a few drummers but no one wanted to rehearse two or three days per week. In September, 2006 Jarek recorded a demo with Marek Marchoff consisting of three songs. Jacek Milosz came back from Florida and they started to work on new album together. In February, 2007 they recorded five songs. Unfortunately, Jacek had some personal problems and he couldn't continue with the band. Today, Jarekand Kuba are finishing the new THE FORK album ........
