whateverlife.comWhat is there to say...I'm E.V.E. baby!! BUUUT really, I'm just your average, fun-loving, ditsy/smart, beautiful world traveler that every girl is. Haha, I'm being ridiculous, I'm not THAT conceited. I did live in Moscow, Russia for a few years, went to junior high and highschool there. Although for the most part I'm just as American as the next (with a little broader world view). I love other cultures, languages, and what not. I like meeting people who are unique in their own way, just like me! I think that family and friends are the two greatest possessions in this short, short life. I believe in God, but loving Him often proves difficult. Too difficult.
Our lives are but a blink of an eye in the span of history, so you should never say, "I've always wanted to do that," you should (at the risk of sounding like a Nike commercial) just do it. I don't think anyone should ever be "settled," because that means there's nothing new happening in their lives. And I love new. New places, new people, new experiences, new shoes *sigh*. I think people can learn more from seeing the world then from school. And people can love, greater than they do.
I love funky fashion, off-the-wall music (although I do get down to some rap), and I love love love trivia. You can always learn something new! I love art and the study of the human body, heart, mind, and soul.
Maybe this is too much about me. In a nut shell: I love life, in all its tempests and splendors. <div style="position:absolute;right:0px;top: <mspmb allowScriptAccess="never"

*yes, I do love men

I'd like to meet:

People out of the ordinary. People who are kind and accepting. People who value others above themselves. People who are honest and humble. People who are willing to stand up for what they believe, or if they don't know what they believe then those who have an earnest desire to find out. For example...
I don't think there should be tighter gun control laws, after all, the NRA is right: guns don't kill people. In fact, it's the bullet that kills them. A small metal object ripping through muscle, bone and flesh at enormous speeds. So let's not take away the guns. You could still walk up to someone and shove an empty gun to their spine and yell "BANG", for they would have to be exceptionally weak of heart for that to kill them. Instead, let's simply do away with all the ammunition. Problem: solved.-thank you Eddie Izzard, you are "Dressed To Kill"

Music:

Latino rap, bluegrass, screamo, 80's, celtic folk/tribal clan drumming

Movies:

Anything stupid-funny...all time favourite? Dumb and Dumber
Documentaries about war or historical monarchies/empires...right now Ken Burn's The War about WWII, should be mandatory

Television:

Sex and the City. And for all you boys, stop rolling your eyes and mumbling about how every girl likes that show and actually watch it, you could use the pointers and the insight into the female psyche. I also like Medium and Law and Order and anything to do with forensics because I think the human body is fascinating. But, as embarrassed as it is to say, and at the risk of perpetuating the idea of women as objects, I do LOVE America's Next Top Model.

Books:

Anything non-fiction, historical-fiction, I like biographies, not auto-biographies because people always try and make themselves look better. BUT, my favourite book that I've read like ten times is the HitchHiker's Guide anthology. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Whew.

Heroes:

I'm my own hero...ha...I have to be because no one else will.
But...I do admire my sister immensely, as well as all the matriarchs in the family.
Celebrities are ridiculous, I abhor their idolization, and the people who perpetuate the degradation of the human body and morality that celebrities represent. They should be embarrassed of themselves. I'm saddened that 75% of women struggle with eating disorders, and that 40% of those women die due to eating disorder related complications. I strongly oppose the images of women in the media and pornography industries, and people who think that women are no longer oppressed...pick up a magazine, watch a movie. Okay I'm done.
