Born during 2002 in the East of France, Coïtus begins to play their first notes without really knowing which way following. In 2003 Guillaume joins the band : Coitus found their singer and record the demo "Subliminal" in may 2003. The feedbacks were goods, and Coitus opened for the Soul Grinding fest ..4. Early 2004, the singer left the band, our drummer took his place, giving his one to Patrice, the last one who joined the band ! With this new line-up, Coitus became more and more mature. After a short year composing songs and performing gigs, the new songs sound better and more techical. The band decided to record in studio to make a new 6 tracks demo " Shadow Of Past". And They are proud to present to you, even if we still don't know what name putting on our music, it is full of influences : Thrash, Death and sometimes Black Metal. Never the less, we try, whithout being pretencious, to make our music sound Old-School, with a hint of melody and brutality. !!!FRENCH
Formé en 2002 en Alsace, par Franck (guitare), Michaël (batterie) et Kevin (basse), Coïtus commence à composer ses premières notes sans vraiment savoir dans quelle direction s'orienter.
En 2003 Guillaume rejoint le groupe, et c'est ainsi que Coïtus commence l'enregistrement de sa première démo intitulée "Subliminal". Ayant eu de bon retour, Coitus commença à faire parler petit à petit de lui, et lui permet d' ouvrir pour le Soul Grinding Fest .. 4.
Début 2004 le chanteur décide de quitter le groupe, mais est peu de temps après, il est remplaçé par Michaël, qui, lui même laisse ses baguettes à Patrice. A ce jour, Coïtus semble avoir trouvé le line-up parfait (en espérant pouvoir continuer un bout de temps ensemble), ainsi que son orientation musical, les dernières compositions évoluent vers un Thrash Old School teinté de mélodies et de touches Black Metal. Un projet d'enregistrement est prévu d'ici la fin de l'année 2004.
