I am a very diverse person. Basketball is my life, but modeling, acting, directing inner-city youth programs around the country, music, dancing, FOOD, romance/wining & dining, art galleries, museums, plays, theater, EVERYTHING!!!
I have been blessed to meet a lot of the people that I have been wanting to meet since I was 3 years old. However, there are a few people I would like to sit down with. Denzel Washington, Angela Bassett, M. Ali, Mariah Carey, Eva Mendes, Ray Ramano, Nia Long, Martin Lawrence, Lawrence Fishborne, Samuel L. Jackson, Janet Jackson, and the late greats: Aaliyah, Marylin Monroe, Martin Luther King Jr., and Malcolm X.
I am a huge R&B and Soul fan! You know, "baby makin music".* However, I am diverse in the music I listen to. The only thing that I don't listen to is that punk rock stuff that to me, sounds like a bunch of screaming and yelling. Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston (86'-99')*, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Maxwell, Tank, Boyz II Men, and Dru Hill is just to name some of my favorites.
I don't watch TV like that. I am a little bit too busy for that. However I do have my shows: "King of Queens", "Everbody Loves Raymond" (I MISS YOU RAY!)*, "That 70's Show" (You son-of-a-BITCH!!! I said GOOD DAY!!! LOL...)*, "Everybody Hates Chris" (I LOVE IT)*, "Las Vegas", "Law & Order SVU" (all of them are great though)*, "Family Guy", and "The Simpsons".
"Finding Fish, Antwone Fisher" and "The Word Negro, Its Origin and Evil Use" are the two greatest books I have read thus far.
I never thought of myself as someone who has heroes. However, now that I am a man and I can look back at certain aspects of my life. My Step-Father (however he is my father)* Dennis Wilkins is the greatest man that I will ever have the pleasure of knowing. He is the main reason why I am a successful, young, black man today. He is my guardian angel. I also have to show my love to Mr. and Mrs. Burnett. They gave me life. They showed and taught me the way a family should be. They loved me, they brought God into my life, and made me a better man, a black man. I thank them all for that. My successes are all owed to them.
