About Me

Desieve is a Modern Progressive Metal band from South Jersey. Desieve consists of four members all from the South Jersey area: Jim Zieger (vocals&guitar), Joe Barnak (lead guitar), Ray Dove (drums), DJ Hill (bass).Desieve has played locally in Philly and Jersey at venues such as Trocadaro, The Five Spot, Northstar Bar, Barbary Lounge etc.. Some of Desieve's major musical influences include Deftones, Korn, Perfect Circle and Tool. Desieve mixes very melodic and layered guitar riffs and low whispering vocals. Then they build and progress songs into powerful angry works of art, with the use of power chords and emotional growls. In 2004, Desieves music has grown into a shared vision of controlled mayhem. The songs are built to make emotions pour from the listener. Desieve is ever evolving and is not stuck in one genre of music. Desieve makes music that almost anyone can appreciate because every song is different from the last.
