About Me

From early on, Ryan Dunlap has had a passion for music. He began playing music as early as third grade. Over time, he expanded his versatility and began to play several instruments. It wasn't until about 2002 where he discovered digital audio production and he has been hard at work ever since. Though initially, college was never of any interest for him, Ryan's new found interest in digital audio production quickly changed his mind. With some hard work and dedication, he was able to obtain a music scholarship to Hampton University where he attended as a Music Engineering Major in 2003. Over the course of his freshman year, however, he determined that the scholastic approach to music wasn't the right approach for him. In 2004, only one year after arriving at Hampton, he gave his scholarship back and left the university. But he did not leave behind his music. In 2004 while working full time and pursuing a new degree in Criminal Justice, Ryan continued the hard work of teaching himself his trade. "The music major was great, but it wasn't great for me. I spent a ton of time attending recitals and meetings, going to band practice and doing homework. There was no time in the studio at all. I just felt like I could teach myself what I was paying someone else $20,000 a year to teach me, you know what I mean"? Ryan acquired some industry standard equipment during his pursuit to become a professional audio producer. Though it was expensive and risky, he knew it was a necessary evil. "I firmly believe that you have to invest in yourself before anyone else will. I haven't had any big break or anything like that. But I can say that the more I invest in me and my work, the more recognition I receive without a doubt." Several years and several thousands of dollars later, he has built a modest project studio and is now ready to take on the challenge of becoming a professional music producer and songwriter.

$25 per hour - Basic Recording: Basic recording features. Simple mixing and editing only. Excludes the use of EQ / FX /

$35 per hour - Advanced Recording: Includes use of EQ / FX / Advance mixing and editing Also includes Production Assistance.

$35 one time fee per track - Vocal Editing Service: Pitch and time correction software can be applied using the vocal editing service. This service is intended for singers who wish to enhance their vocal performance as recorded. This service can correct bad pitches, increase tonal quality, create digital harmonies, correct timing issues and much more! A must have for any aspiring singer!

PACKAGE RATES

$150 - 5 Hour Combo - Advanced Recording for a 5 hour block. Also includes the vocal editing service. Furthermore, the vocal editing service can be applied to any number of tracks performed during the 5 hour block! If you perform 5 tracks, vocal editing can be applied to all 5 tracks, with no additional cost.

$300 - 10 Hour Combo - Advanced Recording for a 10 hour block. Also includes the vocal editing service. Furthermore, the vocal editing service can be applied to any number of tracks performed during the 10 hour block! If you perform 5 tracks, vocal editing can be applied to all 5 tracks, with no additional cost.
