Marcus Voyce knew that music was his destiny at a very young age and like every true artist was driven by the need to express himself through song. Citing influences by artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Rick James, Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, The Isley Brothers and Earth Wind & Fire. Marcus Voyce was inspired by their talents to further realize his dreams of one day becoming an entertainer.Inspired by his father (also a musician) while growing up. Marcus Voyce started singing at the age of eight, and took refuge in an artform that wound up steering him away from the negativity of Toronto's neighborhoods.
