2004
At their second home, the Jameson Distillery Pub, Drummer Jesse Braun and guitar player Chris Vega agreed to open up a band in October. From there on they started working on the first songs Chris had composed so far.
2005
In the beginning of the year they went into the SSE Studio (Essen) to record a 1-track demo of "Voices". A guest singer and a guest bass player helped out.
The band's name ZERO was born!
The demo was a perfect tool to look for additional band members and in the summertime singer Stav Montana and bass player Charlie M. joined the band.
For the rest of the year ZERO was into song writing.
2006
In April 2006 the live set was complete. From there on Zero played many shows during the next 6 months.
They made a live break in October to record the EP "Whatever the Day Brings" at the Zwischengeschoß studios in Hamburg. Produced with and by Peter Keller.
At the end of the year the tracks moved to the bands friend Michael Pfeiffer at Tonhaus Pfeiffer for the final mix and mastering.
2007
Zero started the year by playing a couple of live shows in the region and finally presenting the CD at the Turock in Essen.
In summer 2007 internal conflicts made it unavoidable for the band to split from their front man Stav Montana and decide to continue as a trio. Guitarist Chris Vega also takes over the lead vocals now.
