Sobriety Twist

In an RP fashion - how do you do ?

About Me

Desire means nothing, when you are a robot (Terminator III) Sobriety Twist:Can be viewed in full glory www.sobrietytwist.com; boasting a pictography, biography etc. I consider myself a new & experimental theatre deviser/performer; incorporating different styles and genres of performance into my craft. Having performed at Tate Britain, CBSO as part of artsfest (bringing everywhere into disprepute) and various cabaret clubnights such as Subterfuge and Diamond Rendezvous (Torture Garden this April) and appearing in and on various press mediums such as NME, Kerrang, BBC WM and Real the Times would now do nicely. Starting out as a vocalist and performance poet I became interested in burlesque as a performance style in 2003 whence I started performing at clubnights and respectable venues as Sobriety Twist. Last year I co-wrote, produced and performed in a new theate piece called Four Women which was shown at the Drum Arts Centre, Birmingham. I am currently working on two new productions one of which will be shown at Edinburgh and I occasionally do my kitsch cabaret and shorter performance art pieces at clubnights (clubnights I do not normally frequent) and can most recently be found in libraries; scaring male librarians and sometimes reading; Baudrillard and the like! .. width="425" height="350" ..
