About Me

After winning the finals of the Whoopee Club's Tournament of the Tease December 2007 with her unique blend of comedy, radical cabaret and subversive groteque burlesque she went on to perform at the London Burlesque Festival 2008, Finger in the Pie Cabaret, London Burlesque Social Club and Duckie and was featured in an article for New Burlesque Times.Cha Cha completed an MA in Performance @ Goldsmiths College in September 2007 after gaining a first class honours in Performing Arts at the University of Winchester In her past lives Cha Cha has been a dancer touring with Spitfire and Lush, played bass with; Cibola 1993-94,Deluxor 1996-98(with Anna Page)and TV One 1998-2000; releasing a single on Fierce Panda and touring with Sonic Boom (Pete Kember)and also supporting Six by Seven and Coldplay,but sadly the band disappeared up their own bottoms just as they were about to do something interesting! Cha Cha has also been a Freelance writer, make-up artist, Reiki and holistic massage practitioner, a part time lecturer and facilitator of performing arts workshops for disengaged young people and a celebrity sandwich lady @ Air Studios (which was definitely her best job!!)My most recent little student film below!
