I'd like to meet:
Se7en #6: ENVY Written by DAVID MACK (Kabuki, Daredevil) with artwork by LEIF JONES (Robotica, Aliens).. coming soon Se7en #7 with artwork by Brett Weldele
Music:
The music I listen to fuels my art... God Lives Underwater (one of the most underrated bands ever), Weezer, Deftones, Hot Hot Heat, Alice in Chains, Johnny Cash (nobody can say it like the Man in Black), Misfits, Portishead, Coheed & Cambria, David Bowie (Life on Mars is such a beautiful song), Darwins Waiting Room, Nonpoint, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bjork, Radiohead, Elvis (he is the King for a reason), The SmashUp, Carl Perkins, 36 Crazyfists, The Killers, Hum, Tool, Iron Maiden, NIN, the Cars, Chuck Berry, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Cure..... the list is erratic at times, never ending and always growing...
Movies:
Ahhh... I love movies... ready? First up, my favorite genre, horror/thriller ...Night of the Living Dead (the original and most terrifing zombie movie ever), Tod Browning's Freaks, Alfred Hitchcock's entire collection especially Psycho, Rope and Rear Window, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original, thank you!), Se7en, anything by William Castle (Homicidal, the Tingler, House on Haunted Hill), Evil Dead, Poltergeist, M. Night Shyamalan movies, the ORIGINAL Invasion of the Body Snatchers, the Universal Studios Monster collection, Saw, and Session 9 (go see this movie!!!!)... honestly this list could go on forever, I live for a good scare. The classics and movies I could watch over and over and over... Arsenic & Old Lace, Charade, Viva Las Vegas, Sunset Boulvard, Clash of the Titans (and pretty much anything done by Ray Harryhausen), Donnie Darko, Grosse Pointe Blank, Monster Squad, Office Space, the Matrix, Ed Wood and anything by the great Tim Burton, The Goonies, Shaun of the Dead, Fight Club, The Crow (do I really need to say the original here), Mad Monster Party, Christopher Guest films, anything silent, Amelie, Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, the original Star Wars..... I think that is long enough... for now...
Television:
Right now... LOST... enough said. And of course The Office and It Always Sunny in Philadelphia! On dvd... Buffy and Angel, Carnivale, Arrested Development, and the most important tv show of all time... the Twilight Zone.
Books:
Reading is cool! Frank Baums OZ collection, anything by Ray Bradbury, Cash by Johnny Cash, Slaughter House 5 by Kurt Vonnegut, The Straw Men by Michael Marshall, any book by Neil Gaiman (especially Coraline), ghost stories, and Edward Goreys The Gashlycrumb Tinies... genius.
