About Me

Ok, intro to the hum drum life. Born and rasied in suburbia America and will probably die there...but that's ok as long as I meet cool people along the way and have fun. My ex husband taught me the value of new experiences, so I like to try as many things as I can. Not as adventurous as I once was, but try to keep a 'young at heart' attitude. The best times of my life have been just sitting around with friends and talking. But I live to see live performances of any kind, theater, music, sporting events, you name it. I love to watch people doing whatever they do best. I am a movie addict, it takes an extra special show to get me to watch TV now a days, and usually I just buy the DVD's when they come out rather than try and catch it on the tube, I refuse to TIVO, that just seems like making sure I never leave the couch....ever. So make you're self at home, I'm a lousy hostess, so help yourself to the fridge.

My Interests

Movies, movies, movies. Music, theater, baseball, football, award shows, role playing games (with the right crowd), travel (though I haven't done a lot.) I would love to good back in time and go to film school, I think my perfect career would be a PA.

I'd like to meet:

Wow, that's a hard one. Lots and lots of people I guess. I love to talk to people who seem to have 5 stories for every day of thier lives. I guess I would like to just meet nice, fun people who will laugh at my dumb jokes. ............................................................ .......................................................... I don't really have kinds of music I don't like, I like anything with a beat really. I guess I'm not too much into Gangster Rap though. I have to admit there are some songs I just don't like, but overall I'll listen to anything.

Movies:

Television:

The best shows ever on TV: WKRP in Cincinatti, Night Court, The X-Files, Firefly, Drive, Battlestar Galactica, (New and Old), Star Trek, (Original and Next Generation...I lost track after that, though I did catch a few of DS9)

Books:

I'm in the middle of heavy 'catch up on the classics.' My mother was applaud that I was reading "Uncle Tom's Cabin" for the first time at the age of 35, so I've been trying to read other classics before she sues the school system. Though I have a goal set to read all the versions of the Bible as well. I have read, The Evidence Bible, The New American Standard Version, The New International Version, and right now I'm reading, The Message.

Heroes:

Anyone who puts thier life on the line for the heath and well being of others. Police, Firefighters, Soliders, Constructions Workers, Road Crews, Security at the Rock Concert....you name it.
