SCIENCE!!!
Concerts, cars (customizing and painting also), stereos (high end), metal fabrication (I've built parts for JPL/NASA), parties, photography, tattoos and girls with them, psychology, geology, astronomy, mechanics, electrical, pyrotechnics, music, computers, martial arts, reading horror (Stephen King, Dean Koontz) and fantasy (D&D), electronics and forensics and my newest interests/jobs/hobbies... writing for a heavy metal magazine and also a model scout!
Poking fun at things that need it.
Bon Jovi's newest album art kinda reminds me of something.....
"the angry Kool-aid tour!"
People who like to party, go to concerts and D&B clubs and sporting events. Other photographers. People who are educated and can hold an intelligent conversation. People who are humble.
Who I don't want to meet:
People who are plastic, fake, feel like they are better than everyone else or just full of shit. Chicks who think I'm just out to fuck them, get over yourself!
Bands that suck, are new to the game or just plain lame. You know who you are! New to the scene? Not quite got it together yet? You shouldn't be on stage, if a talent scout hears you, you're name is shit for years! Don't be a dumb-ass and think you've got what it takes after a month! The entertainment industry is a self-serving, "who you know" fucked up place to be however they are not stupid.
I want to hear music that moves me, makes me want to break shit, not take a shit!
Punk rock, heavy metal, rock and roll, drum and bass, classic rock and classical music.
Here is a very small list of some of the bands I've met, hung out and/or partied with.
Kittie, Madlife, Seraphim Shock, A.F.I., Killswitch Engaged, Bon Jovi, WAR, Adema, Alien Ant Farm, Atreyu, CKY, Coal Chamber, Dope, Fishbone, Machine Head, Soul Fly, God Smack, Gwar, Linkin Park, Metal School, Misfits, Mortician, Motograter, My Ruin, Otep, Papa Roach, Prong, Quiet Riot, Slipknot, Static-X, Sublime, Suicidal Tendencies, System Of A Down, Type O Negative, Twisted Method, Vandals.... to name a few.
Too many to list. Some of the best movies, that I like, were never released to the public. Fight Club due to the intricate layers of possible meanings burried deep within. Any movie that seriously challenges the mind without over dramatized activity such as the mind numbing unrealistic car crashes that cause an explosion or brain dead dialogue/humor.
Books by Stephen King or Dean Koontz. Any book in the Dragon Lance saga.
Any one who's overcome adverse drama to make their life exactly what they want. Anyone who can walk away from a fight without fighting (includes verbal drama). Anyone who can quickly figure out that their mate needs to take a hike and tell that person to do so.
My grandmother who raised 6 kids, had a job and took 18 units in college all at the same time by herself without complaining once!
Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter) R.I.P.
