Falun based Metal band CHAINWRECK was initiated during 2003 by CUDFISH vocalist / guitarist Mathias Henrysson cutting a brace of demo tracks utilising the YNGWIE MALMSTEEN band and WITHOUT GRIEF credited Patrick Johansson on drums. A band unit was built up by inducting KOMOTIO vocalist Sonny Jonasson, ex-DEMON CLEANER guitarist Kimmo Holappa plus CUDFISH and WITHOUT GRIEF bassist Bjorn Tauman. Initially filling the drum position would be M. Karlsson from CUDFISH and RENAISSANCE OF FOOLS.
Subsequently, CHAINWRECK drafted a new drummer, Olle Marthans of CAVETO and WALKING WORM COLONY repute. Holoppa parted ways with the band in February 2005, being superseded by another CAVETO and WALKING WORM COLONY member, Henrik Palm. CHAINWRECK released a full length album in may 2006.
