The Charlatans and The Strokes are now easily my fav bands. The Charlatans are definatley the best band still going ha ha....!!!!!!!!I started off into the indie world a while back when my older sis use to play me and gav... The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac (My dad named me after Lindsey Bunkingham) and then The Stone Roses, Joy Division, New Order & Oasis.. and that started the phase in my mind thats still going now, i remember when i first realised who my fav band was i use to just enjoy everyone... that i liked, but the one band that stood out to me in my youger years was Shed Seven, think it was the way Rick Witter use to dress with his cute indie hair cuts and mad 'n' mental stage pressance and leach doin flips over the drums (amazin)x and it wasn't unitl i saw them live that i actually realised how much of an amazing band they really were, everyone use to have a crush on Banks & Witter... still my fav band even now there not around any more but im glad to see Mr Witter has carried on and has formed a new band 'Rick Witter & The Dukes'... lookin forward to hearing some of there stuff...!! i remember watching there last couple of gigs in brighton.. were me and a couple of mates actually met the lads... and they were as sound as could be.. nice bunch, me and the girls definatly thought rick was fit as in person.. still love the dolphin vid... ha ha.. now into mad hardhouse but still the indie through and through... im really liking the Charlatans and the strokes as always, the rolling stones, the beatles elastica, Kooks, David Grey, Incubus, Oasis, Yeah Yeah Yeah's and Bloc party at the mo.., Kaisers since i saw them ibiza rocks last year in ibiza's manummision nite and this year the Dirty pretty things...!!, The Rapture,Starsailor, The Arctic Monkeys & The Automatic are class and then The Zutons, Editors, Razorlight and Kasabian even more so also because of the fact they have played in little old jersey!!... lovin the decks from Pete tong as always, Danny bond, Judge Jules and the Tidy Boys many more but not enough space to elaborate.... x x xThen there's a soft side of me when you get to the core... and thats my fav's like.. Frank Senartra.. Minnie Ripperton.. Melanie.. Dean Martin.. Billie Holiday.. Bruce Springsteen.. Cole Porter.. Shirley Bassey and Jonny & The Hurricanes for party time love the keyboards xxx
