About Me

Jenny Bell is a versatile singer/songwriter, Some say she's Folk, others say she 's Soul and based on a couple of her songs, some would say she's Reggae with a Bluesy twist. She plays the Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic Bass, keyboards and on a rare occasion the alto sax. This allows her to write a repertoire that oozes intrigue. Her strong textured vocals allows her to improvise the most complex or 'hooked' melody lines and the lyrics just seem to roll off her tongue. A must see in a Jam. In 2006 she co-wrote a track called 'Midnight' with Break Beat Producers 'Far Too Loud', which was on the B side to their track 'Get High'. It won best single at the 'Breakspoll' Awards. November 2007 Jenny went to Thailand where she played at 'The Tree Music' Festival on Koh Phi Phi. The festival was raising money to plant more coconut trees after the Tsunami devastated the island. In true heart for music fashion, she played on every Island. Anywhere she could and where anyone would listen. Playing the West London circuit continually in 2007, she's now keeping it local-ish to her home. North London is where she lives and her ever adoring/growing fan base are always there supporting her.
