Books, RPG's (tabletop), making sheep fly (with Harold in the lead), writing, video games that allow me to kill zombies, or nazis, or zombie nazis. Lots of other stuff too, like board games, poker, Magic (card game, not spells), interesting shows that T.V. execs love to cancel, debating, puzzling people, and finding shortcuts inside the system.
No more people at the moment. I know too many people, and don't have enough time to spend with them. Unless you're a glider, can't know enough gliders.
NIN, CCR, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, the Gorillaz, Skynard, the Doors, Queen, David Bowie, Three Dog Night, the Beatles, and the Who. I like a lot of classic rock (60's & 70's), and I'd like to find some moody instrumental stuff banjos, harmonicas and the like. If you know of any, gimme a heads up.
Batman Begins, Fight Club, American Beauty, American History X, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Casa Blanca, Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Unbreakable, the X-Men trilogy, Serenity, Super Troopers, Sean of the Dead, anything with zombies, Donnie Darko, Anything Monty Python or Terry Gilliam (12 Monkeys, Brazil, Time Bandits, the Fisher King, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas).
Sopranos, Deadwood, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Mythbusters, CSI Las Vegas (only), Firefly, Family Guy, Futurama, the Simpsons, Dead Like Me, Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Heroes (freakin' awesome). I don't have any cable or anything right now, so the wife and I have been watching a lot of movies and DVD collections of TV series. Keep in mind all lists are not final.
Most recently I've been reading the Dresden Files, by Jim Butcher. Find it read it, enjoy. They're page turners, so make sure you've got enough before you start. When you're done with one, you want to pick up the next one a second later. Other books I dig are Fight Club, Choke, and really any book by Chuck Palahniuk. The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, as well as most related books of his, and some unrelated. Ohh, read God's Debris, by Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame)and tell me if it doesn't blow your mind. Heinlen has been a favorite of mine lately. Starship Troopers, Orphans of the Sky, and Citizen of the Galaxy. Also I've been reading Project Orion, the true story of America's attempt at creating an Atomic bomb powered spacecraft. There's more and I'll update later.
The man, the one, the only, BRUCE CAMPBELL. His powerful, but apparently obnoxious friend Sam Raimi. Joss Whedon and the cast of Firefly, including the excellent Nathan Fillion. The Pythons. And Trent Reznor for good measure. Really though, you should be your own hero, and just look up to people you can respect. I've got a lot of friend's I'd like to list on here who certainly would fall into the Hero category, but it's hard to admit that to people without sounding fawning, or being accused of flattery. You know who you are.
