wow I put all that in the who i'd like to meet part!!! I do really love to play music. I play bass as well as all the saxes and shit I play. I guess I am good . like to be funky , ie black leaning to stuff. deep , heavy. love my bike, mountains, trees , good friends, food , bars, crazy nights on the edge of reality. I like to wake up drink coffie, read old russian litterature , listen to jazz etc.. that is fun. I read in parks, like a good bottle of wine . been getting down with some nice italian bottles recently. love to cook , asian alot, but I'm good with various european stuffs as well. I lived in Europe for about 12 yrs, so I speak alot of languages, french being the most fluent , i read alot in french, might even speak to you in it when I'm drunk!!! hell any number of languages. like to travel- as you can guess . I like cool , large parties with good music (ie no techno, house, rap, etc), art, cool peeps---- etc.. dig bein out side, again --good wine, friends, food, I like to live!!! alot!!! lot's more to do

Jazz is a big thing with me 50's 60' stuff. classical (ie serious) music as well. also dig the old rock and pop stuff. litterature (old) is big as well -- do like modernn stuff though. these are things about me , if yr down with the whole thing -- cool. also love old films euro from 50's 60's 70's mostly. good wine . I am a chef -- I love good food and lived in eastern europe a long time----which means I had to get good at cooking!!!! anyway --- what else . like to ride my bike, walk in the hills. roll with friends, the park, bars. play music,travel blah blah. wow. music. it is what I do , love, eat , breathe. when I was a kid I worked for SST records, came from a punk like background. we had alot of good bands on that label!!!! I have been in bands since I was 15. my mom got me into jazz, not forcefully. It has taken over my life. I have something like 5000 jazz and classical cds. some world music. the jazz I like is very modern. think 60's coltrane, miles davis , ornette. am getting into 30's stuff at the moment , old duke, various singers etc. I am very into collecting this stuff, every little known genius is a giant in my world. I meet some of these old cats and they want to cry cause I know so much about them. america eats its artists-- sad--- true. jazz is thought of badly because it is represented badly. there is a lot of great shit out there. old 60's blue note stuff --- can't go wrong. I am also a dj --- old stuff, jamacian ,motown, brazallian, afro funk , american funk ,ska, tropicallia, soul,etc . the 60's and 70's produced alot of cool black music!!! love playin it , dancin to it , bein it!!! for some reason I also play alot of bowie and serge gainsburg!! MUSIC!!!! my love!!! oh yeah 60's 70's rock ---pop-whatever (the KINKS!!!!!scott walker!!!!!! nick cave!!!! tom waits!!! tim hardin!!!!zombies!!!!!!chilton !!!!!cohen!!!!!todd rundgren!!!dylan!!!!!etc) for some reason the 70's plague me, music , fashion, the whole bit-- if you were there you know what I mean. also have this gram parsons/ tim hardin kind of country/sad ass drinkin thing in me . I've played alot of that kind of stuff, singing , playing guitar, used to have strings!!! feels right to be back here in california.
