I have been married to the same wonderful man for 37 years -- the first 18 years as a Navy wife. Yeah, I do realize most of you reading this are probably young enough for me to be your mom, but that's okay. Remember, age is just a number. We have one son. My family means everything to me. Being a military wife made me realize how much I love to travel and experience new places and meet new people.
Music has always been very important to me. It's the one place I can escape to when I'm facing both the ups and the downs of my life. I like many bands and solo singers, but Collective Soul has a song for every one of my life experiences. Ed Roland is an extremely talented singer/songwriter. I can always find an inspiring CSoul song whether I'm laughing, crying or dancing! They are the best band around. I love all of their songs and their DVDs are AWESOME! It's time for more DVDs, like one with ALL their music videos on it! (Just a suggestion, guys...) I plan on going to many more CS concerts and meeting the guys again and again and again!!!!!
After living many different places here in the States and overseas, my husband and I have settled in my hometown. We are now living in my childhood home, so I feel as if my life has come full circle. I am very blessed and looking forward to the future.
I can be witty and talkative when I'm around people I know, but tend to be quiet and shy around people I don't know. I suppose that's one reason I enjoy writing, so I will be posting blogs often as that's a good outlet for me.
