About my background picture: This flower just grew out of this rock in my back yard in 2006 about 3 years after the death of my father. He was a gardener and loved to plant flowers & veggies! I definitely DON'T have his green thumb, so I think he had something to do with this! And this makes me think that if something as fragile as a flower can grow out of stone, then that's proof that there is a power greater than myself (and the flower) in this universe.I am a 51 year old women who is a recovering alcoholic with 19 years of sobriety. I have been through hell and back and have survived. I thank God, and AA for helping me turn my life of destruction into a life worth living today!Music is a huge part of my life (listening to it that is). I wish I had learned to play a musical instrument in my younger years, but never did. I love Rock & Roll music! I love to go to concerts and I love my music LOUD! My favorite band is COLLECTIVE SOUL! I just love these guys and have had the immense pleasure of meeting them twice - so far! I've gotten to see them perform live 7 times so far and hope I get to see them many more times in my life! I even had the pleasure of giving them all necklaces that I had made just for them, and Ed Roland wore his on the Jay Leno show in August '07! I was totallly blown away by that!My philosophy is to try and live life to its fullest and to enjoy every second of it! Life is way to short to get caught up in a lot of negative crap. I try not to be judgemental of other people, but I really have a hard time dealing with people who are inconsiderate, rude, negative, conniving and dishonest. I am a very honest person, and I try to be the best person I can be. I am as God has made me, and I really love who I've become today! It took a lot of courage and strength for me to give up my addictions of alcohol, drugs, and nicotine.Well, I hope you check out my pictures, I really love showing off my family, my passions, my crafts, my animals, and of course my pictures of Collective Soul!

My Interests

I love all my crazy animals. MacArthur and Clancy are my newest additions to the family. They are brothers and are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They will be 2 years old on October 11th. I have an asian bengal cat named Simba, not sure how old he is. I got him from a friend who's mom didn't want him any longer, and that was over 12 years ago. Not sure how long she had him before she gave him away. He's a little physco, he's been declawed and he's wackey! Then I have my mama cat, Sabrina, my son Jeremiah rescued off the streets of Bristol, CT about 13 years ago. And Ritty Rat and Jasmin are two of her babies. Sparky was also one of her babies, but I lost him last year. I miss him dearly! I love living life to it's fullest whatever it may be! I have three wonderful children - Jeremiah; Christopher;and Elizabeth - two wonderful grandchildren - Sebastian & Sierra - two beautiful step-grandchildren - Jenna & Jessica; and four great-step-grandchildren - Nadia, Nathan, Noah & Junior. Music:

My favorite band is Collective Soul! I love thier music and they are excellent guys to meet in person. I enjoy listening to thier music on a daily basis. It brightens my heart! I Love Huey Lewis & the News, they make me wanna jump up and dance! And Jeff Tuohy also knows how to Rock! Love ya Jeff! And here's two from Ed Roland's solo Show at Mohegan Sun!

Movies:

Any Fantasy/Fun movie! I Don't like Horror movies AT ALL!! I never watch them!

Television:

Hercules - The Legandary Journeys - (Own all 6 Seasons) What can I say - I love Kevin Sorbo! Xena - Warrior Princess - (Own all 6 Seasons, plus the 10th Anniversary set) What can I say - Lucy Lawless is awesome!And my newer interest - Two & a Half Men - Own Season 1 & 2 so far! Charlie Sheen - What can I say - it's Charlie Sheen!

Books:

Lord of the Rings trilogy will always be my favorite "fun" books! But I also read over & over again "The Four Agreements"! Maybe someday I'll get those right! Currently reading "The Celestine Prophecy"
