New Architects are a modern jazz quartet blending a wide variety of elements from each member's eclectic musical backgrounds. While their music is obviously improvisational jazz, New Architects use a variety of modern rhythms - rock, drum N bass, funk, latin to ambient atmospheric landscapes resulting in a sound that has captured a wide range of audience from hardcore jazz to hip-hop fans.
New Architects main objective is the focus on original material - creating music, song and sound to compliment the mood and interplay of the band. This results in maintaining a group-oriented sound whether it may be groove-jazz or avant-garde.
