About Me

First of all, thank you for reading about us. We began in 1996 in Boston, Massachusetts as a small distribution outlet for poetry books. We gradually phased into publishing with the 2001 limited test release "Passion for Pills". Since then, with the help of like minded friends, we have set out to create a fun, cool and hip little independent publishing company where our only rules are to ignore limits and explore endless possibilities. We will be re-christening our company with the release of "The Sounds from Boston" by Rob Watts in the summer of 2007. We are seeking new authors, photographers, musicians and graphic artists to make Ocean View Press the best independent publisher recognized world wide. If you have a manuscript, book idea, CD or artwork samples, please feel free to send a short message to us describing the book you have in mind or the CD you have that you'd like us to review. If you are an author and you'd like to be considered for publication, please send an outline of no more than three pages explaining your book and a writing sample of no more than twenty pages to:
