Nominated for a Granny in 2008 for best new act. Duane had this to say: "Well, just to be nominated for one is an achievement in itself. I mean, ever since I was the age of 4 or 5 I used to watch the Grannys. I loved the red carpet bit. You know. Seeing all the musicians off stage without a microphone in their hand. They're just normal people I thought.
I was wrong! Now that I'm rich and famous and a rock star. We're not normal. We are better than common trash. I hope to win a Granny award because I deserve one. Like all the greats that have gone before me.. Vanilla Mice, George Michelle, Boy Gordorn and Sir Edward John.
