I am here for Friends

About Me

Middle-aged woman with the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy. Was never much of a girlie girl, always "one of the guys." Currently "living in sin" with my guy (and loving it). Just check out my #1. :) Proud to be an American with Irish Ancestry (you can tell because there's no "I" in Clare - named after the county in which my gram was born). Want to know anything else? Just ask...worst I'd do is not answer you. ;)

Music:

Where to start...I love it all.. including but not limited to, these folks...

Movies:

I have a bajillion favorites

Television:

currently - "Lost" "Numb3rs" "Heroes"in the past - pretty much everything from "Captain Kangaroo" to "Twin Peaks"

Books:

between all the music, tv and movies you'd think I'd have no time to read. but hey...I can multi-task with the best of them.Almost everything by Stephen King (haven't read Dark Towers books, yet...sorry Ed!) Piers Anthony (especially "Tarot" and one of which I can't remember the title but was about some evil tree in Florida...scared the crap out of me) All of William Butler Yeats poetry "Shop Girl" by Steve Martin (the movie version was quite a disappointment) the Librettos to the Gilbert & Sullivan's operettas (especially "The Mikado" good political satire never ages) "The Power of One" (the movie version was a travesty...barely recognized the book at all)etc...and all the rest, your majesty

Heroes:

all my friends for a myriad of unique reasons.
