Wotanorden

WHAT ONCE WAS SHALL BE AGAIN!

About Me

Wotanorden began in 1996 When Jorgen and Tyranath took the music to another level due to the strong belief in Germanic paganism, and ancient European folklore. The Original name of the band had been "Farkaskoldus", which we released one full length album entitled "Lord who Reigneth in the Dark" in the year 1999 The album was limited to 100 copies and is currently out of print. In 2001 we officially changed the name to Wotanorden, we released a few demos then finally released another full length under our new name entitled "From the Storm come the Wolves" in the year 2003. We released our title track as a three piece soon after with Waffenscholtz on drums and Tyranath on bass on the Pagan Front release cd "Night in the Fog 2". After some hardships and certain situations we took a break from the writing process, but came back with a new line up in 2005 With Waffenscholtz taking Tyranath's place on percussion, and the band still remained a two piece. In 2006 We released our next full length entitled "Aryan Culture Preservation" Now in 2007 Tyranath has rejoined our ranks taking the place of second guitarist, and we are finally a three piece. We are currently working on new material, but personal hardships in life once again is going to hold the album process back another year unfortunately, but I can assure you another album will be on it's way in 2008!Wotanorden stands for the upmost revitalization of Germanic, Slavic Paganism, belief and culture.. It is imperative to keep the flame of our ancient heritage burning bright We live, breathe and fight for the gods & ways of old, never to surrender! Our songs are sung in ode to our gods and ancestors, inspired by the ancient war hymns once sung...Wotanorden are proud members of the Pagan Front... a
