Who the hell is she? And what the hell is she?!?!
Twat LaRouge is a larger-than-life performing-drag-body-puppet. Twat represents a colorful, energetic, voluptuous woman who reeks of sensuality. Twat performs in many venues, from theatres to night clubs, corporate events to private parties. Her performances are up-beat and crazy, she grooves to her own mixes of music always throwing in a jump-kick and droppin it like it's hot. She has 30 different heads / faces which are all hand carved with moving mouths, some of which also have moving eyes. Each head has a different personality, color and material. The costumes she wears are layered, so during her performance she sheds each layer like an onion, revealing a spandex skimpy dress which hugs all of her curves in all the right places. There is never a dull moment during one of her shows, and she is sure to get a laugh, cat-call and a slap on the butt! Twat is designed, created and performed by artist Will Hill.
Twat LaRouge has been described as "The Most Unique Drag Act on the Planet", "Sesame Street on Acid", "The Giant Styrofoam Princess", "Baby Got Back Herself", "Cabbage Patch Mama", "Living 3-D Animation", "The Cross Pollination of Puppets, Cartoons and Drag Queens" and "Hello Kitty's Grown Up Prostitute Sistah". She performs to a variety of music ranging many genres, from R&B to Rock to Hip/Hop to World Music. Her performances always include her outrageous faces, multiple costumes, and an intense and unique stage presence.
Twat LaRouge hails from the East Coast and has been performing all over the country since 1999. Since her start, she has been invited to appear in various shows in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Albany, St. Louis, Kansas City, Lawrence, Los Angeles, New York City and numerous cities in South Florida. She was an integral part of a high profile wearable art fashion show, called WEARSTRUCTURE in Chicago (Summer '03). Her escapades have also led her to the Mardi Gras Celebrations in St. Louis, where she was given radio & television spots promoting the local parties and nightlife. She is currently based out of Florida and can be seen at various clubs and stage shows.
Twat performs in many venues, from theatres to night clubs, corporate events to private parties. She is a favorite to host and mingle through high profile events. She is sure to add color and life as she gets the crowd rowled up. Twat also perform stage shows lasting anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes.
