Unknown-Cause are a five piece band from the city of Leeds,
they all met while at
Intake High School Performing Arts College.
The band have been around about four years with the current
line up for about two years.
They originally started playing covers such as
Teenage Kicks and All Right Now.
Since being joined by the two Tom's the band started
writing their own songs
and from then the band have progressed so much,
one month after the new line up they went straight into the studio and
recorded their first three songs.
Nameless Baby - All Alone - I'm Falling.
Only a few weeks after that the band won 2 local battle of the bands competitions - at Beckfoot High School,Bingley ( 28.3.07 )
and Intake High School ( 29.3.07).
Writing and playing their own music had made such a difference
to the band's BOTB experience of 2007.
The prize from both BOTB's were recording slots. Thanks to the Bingley prize, they got some recording time at
Voltage Studio's in Bradford
and that's when they wrote and recorded
another three songs called
Up Beat - Just Leave Me Now - Why Did I Treat You That Way.
From then on the band have been gigging,
recording and writing new songs.
They'll keep you up to date of where the future takes them!
