About Me

Interesting, inspiring and charismatic bands and artists are few and far between nowadays, and although they're certainly out there, you have to keep your eyes and ears peeled to find them. What Beat Happening aims to do is focus more on the interesting characters and bands within music, people that are trying to veer away from the norm and do things slightly differently. That doesn't even necessarily mean pushing the boundaries musically just having a different approach to it. Beat Happening is all about talking honestly and openly about the bands that we like and dislike. If we think a band is shite, well say its shite. If we think they're great, well say so. The thing is, you dont have to agree with us, were not out to start any trends or fads or preach about what haircut you need to be copying, because there are magazines out there doing a sterling job of performing that service, and we wouldnt want to compete with them now, would we?
