Have been thinking about this one..."A lot" sounded to simple....Let's see; Travelling (backpacking style),photographing, nature, animals, cooking food from all over the world, I guess this also mean eating food from all over the world, drinking wine, records (I do love vinyl), science -particulary chemistry and physics as I need that for my work. Oh, my work is VERY important to me. True workaholic...Science fascinates me. So does the odd individuals I am meeting through my work. Some eccentric ones.... There was a time where my life was collecting memorabilia and retro clothing like it was no tomorrow. I have now changed a bit as I prefer to gain inner experiences rather than materialistic items. I do also like lots of spiritual stuff. Maybe the constant search for the meaning of life? What else.....water. Can I say that? I love swimming, diving, watching water, hearing water and I am sure I was a mermaid in my past life. Also I do have a passion for american vintage cars. I have been lucky (or unlucky?) to have own many when I was living in Sweden. Be aware! This is a time consuming and expensive hobby! Still got my 1960 Ford Falcon STW in Sweden and both me and the rust loves it.... Finally I must enhance I do love rock music and can impossible be without my "noise"
someone from another planet
A lot! But mostly played is punk, 60's phsycadelic stuff, early 70's stuff, blues and proper R&B (not that modern stuff claiming the same name), old rock in generally lots of guitars (noise according to some....) Seeds, MC5, Stooges, Love, Hellacopters...last week. Next week another story.........This week Im going through a Lee Hazelwood and Wolfmother period..back in the 90's in Sweden I was involved in distributing r'n'r newsletters organising gigs for our rock n roll club Booze Fighters. I was a complete rockabilly nut for many years. But even so, the 70's punk wave blew me totally. Clash, Sex Pistols, Damned, Siouxie and our local boys in Falun; P-nissarna.I do have some records I value a bit more nowadays: Forever Changes-Love, Paying the Dues-Hellacopters, Total 13-Backyard Babies, Sweet Fanny Adams-The Sweet (I bought this 1973!!!) Queen II-The Queen (And this one 74!), Bolla och Rulla-Pugh Rogefeldt, Sin Alley compilations, All my Pebbles albums,my collection of Black Collector albums (this is pre-White Label for those who dont know-Good stuff!), All my MC5 (I have been known playing American Ruse several times in the early mornings before collapsing). Oh yes! Best party albums Roche and the Sarnos and The Go Nuts (fav live act too!) and that mad Phantom Surfers record I cant remeber the name of. Latest album bought :Tripsichord Music Box (Bay area acid rock from late 69), Frijid Pink's second album (their 2 first ones are truly recommendable if you like late 60's -early 70's) and Electrocuting Elvis (for memory sake). I do like band like them as I like cool attitude in band, hence I do like Lucifer Star Machine
As long as it is not any cliche filled Hollywood crap. All non-predictable films attracts me. Films that puts a thought in my head. Some example: Thundercrack (weirdiest of weird), Snatch (snatchy UK movie with sharp lines), Pelle Conquerer (Swedish movie that is with you for a long time) , Mama Roma (Italian classic with sad ending), Tillsammans (Swedish film with everything in it) Austin Powers and Waynes World (OK not so much thinking but bloody funny), Life of Brian (Classic!!!!!)....All Pink Panther films with Peter Sellers. Tarantino's films for pure class and Russ Meyer for tits and violence (class) American Grafitti because it made a young Anna-Karin dedicate her little life into even more Rock n Roll
Documentaries, educational programs, nature programs, something with fluffy animals, comedy stuff as Monty Python, Bottoms, Young Ones, Nile City (Swe.). I was also hooked on the new Dr Who. Most things with that wonderful person David Attenborough, not to forget Micheal Palin's traveling programs. But really I only watch 1-2 programs a week nowaday. Wish I had Kerrang channel on my telly!...and Animal Planet. But I havent!
Ha ha! Not like anyone else I guess. For the moment all books next to my bed spreads from Micheal Palin's Himalaya, Electromagnetic fundamentals, Fundamental Powder and Chrystal Diffraction, and Jamie Olivers latest Italian book
