About Me

W elcome to my world. Every window, every door leads to a different magical place that we've all visited at one time or another. A few of us can recall that place between sleep and awake, that place where we feel no pain and all mystery leads to something a little more exciting!!
Let me introduce myself! My name is Estella, Estella Bolger. My name Estella~ it's meaning...
E very star that makes up the heavens above...
S tars that guide our way home at night...
T winkling with wonder like a rich lady's jewel...
E ven our sun is a star which shines without fail...
L iving a long life of brillance and...
L uster more so than any gem of the hearth...
A nd embrace the sparkle that's undeniable.
Well... Here is the last letter I recieved from my mum and da. It was a stormy night when I came running feeling an internal feeling of discomfort. No candles were lit as I entered my home. Quickly I lit a lantern and there a piece of parchment with my mother's handwriting laid on the edge of her arm chair. I knew she had been feeling ill and I felt just as ill when I read this...
So here I am in my hole, offically alone and full of discomfort. My heart never ached so terribly as it did now. My brother fatty [whom I also called fred or edgar] was away on some silly boy adventure. No telling where he be now, but this is me. Estella Bolger...
I'm not exactly a star. A Hobbit actually. As you can see from the letter my mother and father are Rosamunda and Odovacar Bolger and I have one brother, Frededgar. Now is the fourth age, a sad age. The time of fantasy and hobbits is quickly dwendeling away. I was born back in 2985. The second age it was. Exciting at all times but soon the third age came and many more events have happened. I have started a journal and will continue it for as long as I am able.
Like most hobbits and/or halflings, I come from the Shire. The Shire if tucked in the north western region of Middle Earth under the region of Arnor. The Shire is divided into four regions (North, South, East & West) The tiny villiage of Budgeford is where I call my home. Budgeford is in the region of Bridgefields located near the Brandywine Bridge on the west side of the Brandywine River. It is north of the Great East Road. All of which is located in the Eastfarthing.
Growing up as a hobbit we are taught to respect the ways of all things natural. The trees, meadows and the creatures that dwell within them are sacred to us. Through there is much adventure to be found in our realm, us hobbits like to play it safe and stay in our little holes in the ground. Surrounded by food, warmth and good company. Though we whole heartedly enjoy hearing the tales of those places far away, not many have the ambition or desire to seek things too far past our round front doors.
Budgeford is the village I live in as of now. Tiny town on the water particularly named so because nearby was the crossing of Budge Ford, where the road between Scary and Whitfurrows passed over the Water. A cart travels through Budgford that takes hobbits and other travelers to Scary and Whitfurrows often. Scary is a village located at the more northern end of the Eastfarthing and dwelled just south of the Hills of Scary. The cart travels the road that runs south from Scary to cross the Water at Budge Ford and join the Great East Road at Whitfurrows.
The village of Scary is quite scary. The hills of scary had many tunnels and hidden caverns called the Brockenbores. My nuckle nose brother Fredegar and his band of rebels hid in the Brockenbores during the War of the Ring. My brother knew no better and even now he is missing. He's probably still in the tunnels no doubt. I have no desire to seek for him. There aren't too many other hobbits in my life that are special to me. Just my family and well... there is Meri.
M y, he's dashing and daring
E ver so courageous and caring
R eally faithful and friendly
I 'll sing of his story and share!
A ye his legend is growing
D o take pride in knowing this
O verly wonderful, brave and
C harismaticly clumsy hero to all!
