IN ELVEN LANDS
Professor J.R.R. Tolkien often claimed that his tales of mythical worlds were translated from an ancient tome, discovered in some forgotten corner of Oxford's great libraries.
What if it was true?
In 1999, a small fellowship of recording artists, using musicological techniques, set out to reconstruct the music of Tolkien's lost civilizations. After seven years of work, they have brought to light the living music of Tolkien's mythical worlds.
Featuring four songs from guest artist, Jon Anderson (founding frontman of the rock group Yes), In Elven Lands is a journey into ancient music, with lyrics in
English, Elvish and Anglo-Saxon.
