Some of the people I've met in dreams...I fly in my dreams, meet a lot of kindred spirits, and sometimes am very dismayed to wake up and lose them. There are some others I'd like to meet...in my dreams...I was always attracted to the wild ones
I've been around a while and have always loved music. In the sixties, it was the Beatles and other British bands and of course...The Doors. In the 70s, I loved it all and hit every rock concert I could travel to. I will never forget the Eagles playing four straight hours in Greensboro NC at a standing-room only concert with Fleetwood Mac. I loved all the 80s music. I have two favorite soundtracks that I have heard a million times: "Lost Highway" and "Natural Born Killers". Some of my faves include Angelo Badalamenti, Leonard Cohen, Larry Carlton, Eric Clapton, Julee Cruise, David Bowie, Deep Forest, Def Leppard, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, The Doors, The Eagles, Eurythmics, Billy Idol, Eric Johnson, Kansas, Leon Russell, The Moody Blues, Gary Moore, Alberto Parmegiani, Lorenzo Petrocca, Pink Floyd, Queen, Tony Lowe, Trent Reznor, Rammstein, Roy Orbison, Joe Satriani, Slash and old GNR, Steve Stevens, Steve Vai, and Eddie Van Halen. I love a variety of music, just love good players and good tunes. I LOVE GUITARS.I might light some candles and listen to some jazz, or dance to Van Dyk or Tiesto with my Golden Retriever.
Suspense, thrillers, drama..Movies, I take very seriously. I get lost in a good movie.

Good novels by good authors, including (but not limited to) Animal Speak, Beloved/Paradise by Toni Morrison; Carrie, Gerald's Game, The Shining, It, Cujo, Firestarter, Rose Madder and The Stand by Stephen King. All of Cormac McCarthy's books, The Education of Little Tree; everything Larry Brown wrote, Sophie's Choice by William Styron...The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy...Peachtree Road and The House Next Door by Ann Rivers Siddons in her early days. There are literally thousands of wonderful books I could recommend; just don't have the space and time.
Nathan Bedford Forrest, first and foremost. He was so overlooked; betrayed by commanders and hunted relentlessly by his enemies. He was so strong, so handsome, who with less than a year of formal education made a million by age 40. He was wounded four times during the civil war, had 29 horses shot out from under him and killed 30 damned Yankees in hand-to-hand combat. I don't approve of his "grand wizard" regime (from which he did recover and repent), but he was one bad-ass soldier. Other heroes include Tecumseh, Sitting Bull, Chief Joseph and other Native Americans who had such a perfect world until we came along and ruined it all.
