Julie Kicklighter is no stranger to being in front of large crowds at exciting sporting events. After graduating from Georgia Southern University, where she was the cheerleader captain for the six time NCAA 1-AA football national champions, she went on to become a Miami Dolphins Cheerleader during the 2005-2006 NFL season and was awarded Rookie of the Year by the organization.Julie, also known as KiCK by her friends and colleagues, has appeared in front of the camera as a correspondent for Fox Sports Net Miccosukee Sports Rap where she wrestled an alligator, danced with a burlesque troupe and covered the Miami Heat Championship parade. KiCK was also featured as a special guest and Diva at the Division 1 Professional Wrestling event in Miami, hosted a preseason international game for the American Basketball Association and covered the Ultimate Fighting Championship auditions for Spike TV on ManiaTV!KiCK is also a stand up comic has also been the subject of features by Channel 10's Sports Jam Live, Channel 7's Sports Extra, Fins TV on NBC 6 and Making the Squad on the NFL Network. As a member of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, she has performed comedy at various special events including NFL Draft Day and FanFest at Dolphins Stadium. The highlight of her career as a professional cheerleader and stand up comic was entertaining the U.S. Military on tour overseas with the Armed Forces Entertainment Group.KiCK has also appeared doing stand up comedy at south Florida comedy clubs, working on the same stage with the likes of Gilbert Gottfried, Rodney Carrington and SNL's Colin Quinn and Finesse Mitchell. She recently performed on stage at the world famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. One of Julie's favorite jobs was working as emcee for the Knockouts, a spectacular female revue choreographed by Emmy Nominated choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard. The show consisted of 8 gorgeous starlets and KiCK, who took you through a fantasy joyride. There she delighted the audience with her high kicks and high jinks, earning the spot on the billboard promoting the show and Gulfstream Park, home of the Florida Derby.Julie has worked on-air with former Miami Dolphins linebacker, Kim Bokamper, and top-rated radio personality, Kenny Walker, on the Kenny and Bo Show on WQAM Sports Radio in Miami as well as television projects with the New England Sports Network (NESN), ManiaTV! for Spike TV and the Palm Beach Visitors Channel. She also works as model/hostess for special events, including the Marcus Allen Foundation, Maxim and the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational and on the fitness teams for exercise videos by Brenda Dygraf and Denise Austin.KiCK's dream was recently realized when she started working with Hall of Fame baseball journalist, Peter Gammons, and became a regular on prestigious ESPN Radio.
