Who am I? I'm a complex but very playful person. I'm still trying to figure out who I want to be when I grow up, which I hope is never. I want to try out everything I've ever wanted to do at least once in my life. I am a student of life and enjoy that I've been given another chance to make the best out of it. I'm almost 2 years in remission from my cancer and I have decided to embrace life and deal with the issues in it. I'm sweet, exceedingly kind and caring, sarcastic, cynical, questioning, playful, stupid at times, smarter than the average bear at others. To know me, you only have to know the superior character of my friends, who are the most important people in my life.
I love reading, collecting Legos (damn expensive hobby I have), playing video games, riding horses, watching movies - especially funny ones, my kitty Peeper, long drives to clear my head, tickle fights, pillow fights, acting completely silly, shopping, trips to museums, aviation history (hey it was part of my major!) and watching cartoons like Catscratch and Fairly OddParents. I'm retarded over hockey. I'm actually leading my league in fantasy hockey, so I must be doing something right! I just love it. It's a fast-paced, skillful, high energy game. Plus I really have a thing for hockey players - the ones with teeth preferably!
I'm shy until you get to know me and I'm outrageously fun when you do. There are times when I'm quiet and very inside myself because I have a lot of worries in my life. There are no rose coloured glasses in my world, but I'm trying to see things brighter than they may be sometimes. My friends keep me sane...well as close to that as they can :) I may appear negative, but I'm not. I prefer to call myself a realist in life. I may not wish on shooting stars or believe in love at first sight, but it doesn't take away the fact that secretly I do wish those things were true. I'm more of a "girlie girl" than I'd like to admit and I'm trying to embrace that.
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. Take it or leave it, there isn't much in between because I love who I am. I make no excuses for the person I am. People in my life have helped me become this wonderful person, and I wish everyone knew how awesome I really am :)
I have to leave a spot in here for my precious kitty. I put her to rest May 4, 2007 and it was the toughest day of my life. She is very missed and I thought i'd do a little slideshow of her. She was so pretty. One of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen. Mommy loves ya honey!
