I am here for Friends

About Me

What about me? I am just muddling through like the rest of us. Trying to remember what is important in the overall scheme of things. I try to focus on the positive and to remember life is not made up of stuff they try to sell on tv. Most of the time I am running arounding trying to do too much and then getting stressed that I can't get it all done. Then I look at my baby boy and my sweet husband and I just breath. There it is, all those things I try to keep in perspective! So what can I say? Life is good, challenging and quirky. I am happy to be an employed person, whether I love my job or not is beside the point. I am a transplant to Richmond, of which I still don't know my way around. Seriously if its some place outside of my 10 mile radius I don't know how to get there! I hope one day to move again. I enjoy moving and traveling. I tend to get a little stir crazy after a few years if I don't get a change of scenery. Must be the effect of moving all time growing up, now it's in my blood. I have great friends to call my own. I am so fortunate in that they are here for the duration. My family are dear to me, but unfortunatly just as scattered as my friends. I do wish I had those familiar faces much closer!

My Interests

Archer, Bud, Mr. Belvedere and Jersey Girl. Eating, drinking, gardening, reading. Relaxing, sleeping, snuggling. My friends and family

I like all sorts of music. I am open to new things. I especially like it if its got a funky beat and you can dance to it! I love anything Mike Patton, it's all about the voice! I dig Ani Defranco, little Weezer always gets me in a good mood. Love swing, Big Band, Frank and friends...just strikes a cord in me.

Television:

Seriously I have no time for TV. But I continue to Tivo & sometimes find time to veg out with Scrubs, The Office, General Hospital! If I am lucky Sunday is always a chance to catch up on The Soup and SNL! All in all still way too much TV!
