Solace terdiri dari 5 orang pemuda yang memiliki kesamaan hobi
(bermusik). Band ini berdiri pada tahun 2007 atas gagasan
dari ichan (snatch) dan Arenza (raw). Rekomendasi pertama mereka yaitu
merekrut ilham (hi-gain) dan Rio (strike). Karena kesulitan mencari
vokalis, maka mereka (terpaksa) mengajak Denis. Solace memainkan
tunes dari The Strokes. Band ini berusaha untuk memajukan musik
di Semarang (amin).
