My name is Criss, my DJ name is Skank:DJ. I've been helping put parties on and generally have been involved in the Legal and Illegal side of the Underground Music Scene for years, going to free-parties, rave's, legal events, since I was about 16. Me and a big group of best mates all put in for our own night, when we were like, 17/18 it was an under 18's event cos we were under 18, hahaa, was brilliant, and we made enough out of them to buy a DADDY RIG, we did our own parties, free parties under the name F.T.P (Free To Party, Fuck The Police), had a few Co-Labs with Survival, Distortex, Reckless, a good few, cant remember names now, lol.
They were good days man, proper. Wish I could do it aaall again, but then, I'm glad I've done it at the same time, if that makes sense!? lol
Fuckin awesome days. Some choices I made n shit man, I wouldnt change aaanything Ive done still.

I've been mixing though probably on n off for about 2 or 3 years, it's fun. lol Badly neeeed a new mixer maaaaaaaan LOL I bodged my one hard, LOL, Its got knobs n stuff off another mixer....Pioneer's man, they the TANK's of the DJ'in World. I neeed, well ok, haha, I want the NUO 4. So any rich bastards out there, fancy treatin me? ;0)
There's gonna be a few mixes up here as soon as I can sort one out.
I like to mix everything, really, but I absolutely LOVE mixing with all the Dub Sounding stuff like, Potential Badboy, Round One, Visionary, J Frequency, Benny Page....There's loads, that Dutty Rock and Digital Soundboy...If my memory was better, I'd write more, lol oh yeah ummm nope, its gone lol.
JUMP UP IS A MUST! LOL...Being involved with Dirty Needle Recordings and Garunteed Beatz, I NEED to play Jump Up. lol.
I LOVE our sound of J/U, and I'm WELL proud. lol. It's an achievement in life one does think. ;0) lool
Aswell as all that type of Drum and Bass, I like mixing all your Hardware, like Noisia, Prolix, Spor, y'know, the darker rolling grimey shit. There's a time n a place for all of it.
And you can't forget your Liquid either, not your dripping wet shit, proper sub low roll out luscious, y'can't breathe stuff. My mate Sarah know's aaall about that shit! haha U should keep an eye out for Sarah, she Up and Coming too...Angel...can't forget her!
I help with Dirty Needle Recordings, its my partner Garon-T's Label and Sensa's. I am the PR Manager for the label also for Garunteed Beatz, which is NEW!! It's the sister Lable to DNR....Gonna be some proper diirty bits coming on there.
Got the First release coming in about 2 weeks...Gonna be a good thing. I keep an eye out for talent and keep an eye on things over all....Men....lol...Do I need say more!? hahaah nah Im jokin....I just help do all sorts...
I used to be at the shop a fair bit, helping, I help Fridays and Saturdays, at The Dirty Needle now, and in the week Im on the PR... It's fun, if your in Bletchley, or Milton Keynes area, you should pop down, we get everything in...I'll wack details up in my blog actually. Good place to network as well....
I do loads of random shit really, I help promote pretty much anything, I rep especially, Bassment Lounge, Deadly Fusion, Unity and Contagious Events....
They all from my area, M.K and near..Bassment Lounge and Deadly, and Contagious, I've written review's for...I review loads of stuff.
Last year, I was sorting my own magazine, UMS Magazine, got it pretty much ready to print and sommat happened, basically couldnt print it, as I had given me job up, to focus on UMS, it just pissed all over everything, so this year, I've gotta sort shit out, I need a job n me own place n shit, its all about priority, so I've decided to still write and review, and Promote as much as possible, but not print...I've got to sort stuff out with people and give them a few options n stuff. But it should be all good. And once I'm sorted, I know where I stand and I can sort it all out properly.
It should be fine, sometimes, you just have to wait for the right time for some things. ;0D
