The band is formerly known as “Mano Mano”. It is composed of Cebuano members who tried their luck here in Manila last 2005. Luckily, they got their once in a lifetime chance to release their very first solo album on March 2006 entitled “Ladies First” under Sony BMG. This album carried several ground-breaking single songs namely “Bigay na bigay”, “Nene” and “Sulat”.
Since the release of the second single “Nene”, it became the favorite of the patronizers of various radio and TV music stations. In fact, the band has been a finalist in the Best Performance By A New Group Recording Artists Category for the song “Nene” of the 20th Annual Awit Awards held last August 8, 2007.
One year after the album release, several changes happened. Both guitarists decided to leave the band for some personal reasons. From then on, different guitarists jammed as they continuously play their own style of music. Mano on vocals, Miko on bass and Zaryo on drums stood strong as one group.
In the present year, they decided to change their managing arms. After that, several more changes came in. The group had their own search of a permanent guitarist for the release of their upcoming album. Jeptah (former guitarist of Mano Mano) referred someone who plays the same type of music. Egie (formerly of Jeepney Joyride & presently of Comicstrip) completed the line-up of the group as the lead guitarist.
They now call themselves the “PEDRO FILE”. The group plays pop-funky music, as they would always laugh around, “funky, funky lang”. The band plans to include 14 songs in their debut album, which were all written and arranged by C. Mano Sunico. The demo for the album was already finished. And as a matter of fact, the band members are now ready for recording their album. Hopefully, it will be released early next year.

About their music and the album:
“Bigay na Bigay” is just an icing on the cake as Manomano re-introduces funk in the alternative scene with their 11-track debut album “Ladies First.” The band pays tribute to women with songs that tackle relationships, women’s issues, moods, changes and other female-related stuff.
It also includes the head bobbing tune, “Maria”, the visually poignant “Lason”, which is about a woman possessing special powers to attract any male she fancied; Pinoy pop rap, “Mannequin”; a couple of dance tunes “Ate” and “Heaven”; a switch to the dark sound of “Blade”, one of the two English songs of the album; moving on to easier rhythms of “Playground”; the witty exploits of an OFW in “Sulat” and finally, the tear jerking “Happy Birthday To Me.”
About the latest single: NENE the second single “Nene,” about a down-and-out girl who turns into stripping. “LADIES FIRST” is now out in CDs at record stores released under Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
