At the age of 23, TriEssence graces the spotlight with her classy, yet sassy vibe; and her soulful, rhythmic voice with the Hip-Hop twist that showcases her stunning vocal command. When she bellows out high notes, chills, goose bumps and yes-even tears will flow. Calls poured in the local radio station KPRS 103.3, with rave revues of her stunning performance, offering her words of encouragement to pursue her dream of being a professional singer/entertainer.ƒæIn November 1999, TriEssence opened for K-Ci and JoJo (of Jodeci), Dave Hollister, and Silk in concert, at a hall in downtown, Kansas City.ƒæIn November 2003, TriEssence auditioned for AMERICAN IDOL television show where she was able to wow the judges clean to Hollywood, CA. and was ultimately ranked in the top 64 for the season.ƒæOn May 13, 2005 as one of the 3-finalist, TriEssence guest featured on the Tom Joyner ¡§Sky Show¡¨ hosted by Kansas City radio station KMJK 107.3.A Kansas City native, TriEssence could not help but be influence by the spirit of music and jazz as that KC is the birthplace to legends like Charlie Parker and Count Basie. Her true musical inspirations are Patti LaBelle and Tina Turner.The lyrical voice of TriEssence was first discovered at the age of 5 by her grandfather. He listened in as she mimicked the church choir. Being a retired gospel vocalist, he keyed in on her ability to bellow out high, strong effortlessly. The following Sunday morning after the choir sang, her grandfather announced that she would be singing a solo. TriEssence recalls standing and asking for the microphone only to hear everyone laugh as her grandfather said that she didn¡¦t need one because of her commanding voice. So she began singing without it, and the congregation loved it! It was then that she knew that music was her love.Since then, TriEssence has proven herself a true musical prodigy. A great deal of her upbringing has been devoted to music and her aspirations to succeed as a performer. Aside from dance lessons and vocal coaching, TriEssence has spent countless hours perfecting her stage presence and experimenting with various vocal techniques.As she¡¦s grown older, the interests of TriEssence have expanded to include dancing, acting, and a love of song writing.
