About Me

My name is Eric Swisher, also known as Swishiee. I lived in Ventura, California for most of my life. I've also lived in Santa Maria, California for a few of my high school years. I currently live in Grass Valley, California where I work at a Staples store.

I like going out with my friends and just having fun. I'm always up for something new. I also like going out to movies from time to time to time. And on occasion I like to enjoy myself a video game or two.

I like to think of myself as a pretty nice guy, I put others before myself most of the time. I may seem like an angry or upset guy by my usual appearance, but I'm actually a cheerful guy once you get me going. I'm always open to meeting new people around town, so add me if you want!

My Interests

Hanging out with friends, getting out, listening to music, skateboarding, watching movies, playing games, and meeting new people.

I'd like to meet:

People wise, anyone really. I'm always open to making a new friend. Relationship wise, I'm not really looking. If I feel something between us, then I'll let you know. Otherwise I'm not actively seeking a girlfriend.

Music:

I love listening to music. My Zune rarely ever leaves my side. My favorite genre of music is rock, although I like all different types of music. My favorite bands are Incubus, The Beatles, The Used, My Chemical Romance, Dragonforce, Fall Out Boy, Strifer, and many more. My favorite composers are Danny Elfman, John Willams, Nobuo Uematsu, Koji Kondo, and Yoko Kanno.

Movies:

My favorite movie genre is comedy, but I'm always open to others. My favorite movies are the Star Wars Saga, the Indiana Jones Trilogy, Back to the Future Trilogy, World War II movies, the James Bond 007 movies, the Rocky Anthology, Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, and many many more. I'm also a sap for a good love story. That is, if it's good and not one of those "done a million times" type love stories.

Television:

My favorite TV show of all time is The Simpsons. I also like The Venture Brothers, Metalocalypse, Lost, Star Trek, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and several others.

Books:

I'm not too much of a reader. The only books I read regularly are the Harry Potter books. I also like to read some of the Star Wars books from time to time, and I like to study up on World War II history by reading some WWII books.

Heroes:

Bryan McAleese-Jergins - He's always been there to slap me in the face and bring me back to reality.

Mike Goularte - One of the coolest and laid back guys I know. Always has some wise advice.

Hannah B - For understanding me and who I am, and for being able to see things from my view. She's also a rockstar.

Chris Nation and Colin Whittington - These guys are always willing to listen. And they're fun to hang out with.

The Hight Sisters - Seriously. They rule, and I'm very glad I've had the opportunity to be close friends with them. Anytime I see any one of them my day becomes a whole lot better.

Gerard Way - Not only is he an awesome musician, but he's an awesome human being. He and his band have saved me.

Shigeru Miyamoto - Creator of Mario, Zelda, and many others. This man has played a big part in my hobby since the first time I picked up an NES controller.

Batman - Rock on Dark Knight. Rock on.
