Excessive Machine is three classically trained musicians who at some point decided to do something with pop attitude (and by ‘pop’ we mean not the genre, but a certain flow of energy that is available to be felt by anybody, no matter what their knowledge about music is). The result is something that in good music stores would be placed on the shelf tagged ‘indie rock‘, but it’s an oversimplification since the music is inspired by as wide range of styles as 60s soul, 70s funk, 80s disco, 90s rock and contemporary electronic experiments and club scene.
