My name is Kelly Lynn Powell!!I strive to lead a balanced life. I love God, I can do nothing without him.I am a very multi faceted person. I balance myself with ease most of the time between my very strong domestic side that strives for an everything in its place home and the part that has the need to let my hair down and bang my head to some good heavy metal, and have a good time doing it! I LOVE TO LAUGH!!.....sometimes at myself!! I try and act goofy every chance that I get. I believe that your home is your castle, and your refuge from the world. However, I also believe that you should get out into the world and take in all that you can.....or at least all that you can afford!
I think that money sucks! Of course if I had more of it I probably would not say that. I just think that too often, money defines what we are or what we can or cannot do and that bothers me. The size of ones wallet does not equal who we are or our potential.I am very proud of the fact that I am a good Mom. My children are proof of that. They are each very unique individuals with amazing qualities all their own. My approach to parenthood is simple really. Treat your children like people not a trophy or a thing. Be a balanced parent. Be Firm, but not overbearing, be fair, but not passive, and be CONSISTENT!! Talk to them with a straight approach, offer them understanding and guidance. ..be as good role model for them, and just love them for who they are,and what God made them to be.These are some things that I like:
The color yellow, a good steak, most any fruit, candy, music...music...music, musicians, animals of all kinds, fast cars, good vodka, Corona, castles, comfortable jeans, being barefooted, dancing, fast cars, motorcycles (even though I cant drive one), guitars (I am learning to be a rockin' bass player!....we'll see....), anything in nature.....the stars, the moon, the sun, the wind, flowers, clouds...
I like real people, honesty, loyalty, determination and conviction.Here are some things that I dont like:
Water chestnuts, traffic, waiting in line at Wal Mart, pumping gas, most T.V. shows.
I don't like drama driven people, liars, and untrustworthy people that try and be something that they are not, and do things JUST to draw attention to themselves. I loath people that dis-respect others for thier own agenda.*******************************
