I've survived separation from my homeland, the loss of people I love, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anorexia, Clinical Depression, obesity, Asthma, heartbreak, change, poverty, uncertainty, and natural selection. I've faced mountains that I could not move, so I've scaled them. I've faced the consuming fires of life and have risen from the ashes as a Phoenix does. I've been pushed over the edge to plummet into nothingness and have developed wings. I've fallen apart eight million times and just put the pieces back together in a better shape. I'm the Little Engine that Could (and can).

The Titans were not greatest beings on earth; neither were the Olympians. The greatest beings have always been the humans. While Athena was born with the wisdom of all the cosmos and Aphrodite was born with unfathomable beauty, no human being is born this way and yet we strive for these ideals anyway. It's amazing that while people worshiped omnipotent beings, they never realized their own strengths. Without magic, humanity has survived some adversities not even the immortals could.
To be human is to be beautiful. To be human is to be infinitely powerful. It's not our ability to control the very deepest secrets of the universe that makes us so, but our ability to adapt to things that we have no control over. We suffer, we grieve, we die...yet we carry on with these burdens that the greatest mythical forces would collapse under.
The greatest proof of courage is not fearlessness, but being afraid and going through with proper actions regardless. It is our ability to continue to fight for permanence in an impermanent world that places us above the gods of myth. Our ability to feel fear, but to keep pushing forward.
The members of the heavenly courts are handed paradise and all its encompassing gifts through millenia, while we build it all from scratch in what little time we have here. The greatest Egyptians were not Isis, Ré, and Horus, but the builders of the magnificent pyramids.
It is our simple existence that is the most radiant, a radiance so great that Amaterasu herself would envy.
