In high school and throughout college I used to be considered the "black sheep" of the bunch (by some) for being straight edge at a time in life when drinking and partying defined who you were as a person .
Although I still don't drink or do drugs, I've kind of traded that image for being one of the only Christians in a group of friends who primarily don't share those same beliefs.
In life, you're mostly defined by what you do for a job, who you're dating, how much money you make, your outward appearance, and who you hang out with.
The older I get, the more I care to steer clear of those ideals, and just be me. Take it or leave it.
