Rye-optiks is a cat from da loops (Kamloops BC). That 1st got into hip hop at a young age; about ten or eleven. First started out as a Graff artist and then went on to becoming a b boy. After about two years of breaking he then went on to becoming a DJ and shortly after that an emcee. Ever since then he's been rocking hard at it and doing mad good. Getting into his very first hip hop crew; S.C.(SOLOR.COASTERS) through his bro and mentor Just B. After that he went on to move out to the coast and see what it takes to really do this music. After a lot of hard work and many battles he got into his second crew which is; 7knights through his bro Akos Oner. After doing mad shows with Akos and his cuzzzin Creepsolow all over Vancity him and his cuz went on to get into his third crew which is; U.C.G.FRESH COAST. Then it was on for him ever since. He has opened for acts like; JUST-B, EMOTIONZ, MANIK1DERFUL, OS12, TY-C, JC SUBLIMINAL, KABOOM, DJ MOVES, DJ MERGE, DJ VERSE, CEE!!!!!!!!!, BIRDAPARES, McENROE, KIA, SLEEP, ISHKAN, SHRIMPY FLUX, PIP SKID AND A WHOLE LOT OF OTHERS. He has started his own crew which is S.D.S. (SUN DOWN STYLISTIKS) which is doing very good. They started at three peeps and are now up to about 20 members strong! They are on the up rise and have very good music, for the everyday peeps that have nothing good in there lives, but this underground music that they call hip hop. Hopefully they have helped u or someone around u with the music they put out. For it is not for them, it is for the listener who needs it the most. So with all that said, he hopes to see u at a show or on the street when he is slangin his CD's for 10$. and would like to thank all the peeps that helped him see whats really good in this crazy thing that we call life and would also like to give shouts to his crews and all his families fo sho fo sho WEST COAST FOR LIFE STAY UP AND PEACE.
