About Me

My name is Kenny aka Skin. I've been married to my wife Kristy for eleven years. She's the real deal. I work as a fire alarm tech at Newport News shipyard. I play bass and my last band was with my amigos in Dreadline. Right now I'm playing with The Villians out of Norfolk, good rock and roll and I'm really digging it. I can't stand it when people screw up their own situation and then won't own up to it. Life seems to go by fast, enjoy..

The record store at the mall isn't rock and roll. Support your local bookstores, record stores, restaraunts, hardware stores and so on. You don't have to go to Home Depot, Applebees, FYI or Borders to find what you need.
You scored as Elvis Presley. The United States has never been a democracy but actually a monarchy...with it's citizens bowing to one throne. Born in Tupelo, you are the King. You have a tendency to be promiscuous, you'll probably die of a drug overdose or be abducted by aliens, and you're also responsible for the ousting of Jesus/Yahweh from the throne of gold.

My Interests

Music, movies, history, art, I like old cars but can't work on 'em due to lack of patience. I like growing my vegetable garden with my wife and I enjoy hanging out with my niece and nephew. Love my dogs and cat

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who could give me free Rolling Rock beer for life. I'd like that same person to gimme a million dollars too. With that million dollars I'd start a research group to stop male pattern baldness.

Music:

For some people music is just a background theme. Music is a neccesity for me. Rock and roll, blues, metal, rockabilly, soul, punk. I like any type of music that is played like people mean it. I used to have a slew of bands listed here but the damn thing was too long. On Sunday afternoons I toss back a few beers and listen to a local radio show on 88.7 called the Jivin and Drivin show. If I'm awake on Tuesday evening at 11:00, I listen to Shellys homegrown on FM 99. I can't stand music I consider vapid and insincere, Ashley Simpson, Shania Twain, Poison, Whitesnake and so forth. Click on the image below to get some real rock and roll music. It's the 7" by my band The Villains. We're out to battle insincere, vapid music and get some free beer in the process.

Movies:

Pulp Fiction, Star Wars, Clerks,The Brain That Wouldn't Die, Full Metal Jacket,Bucktown U.S.A.,Beavis and Butthead the Movie,Super Troopers, The Blues Brothers, Brother Where Art Thou, Slingblade, The Incident, Freaks, Return Of The Living Dead, Evil Dead 1&2, Dellamorte Dellamore, Blind Swordsman series, The Manster, Friday, Half Baked, Saving Private Ryan, Red Spirit Lake, Cheech And Chong films, Hammer films Re-Animator, Wild At Heart. I've enjoyed the Chiller Conventions I've been to, I'll get to another one someday.

Television:

I watch it on occasion. Comedy Central, The History Channel, Cartoon Network, T.V Land. HBO series are cool. Simpsons, Malcom in the Middle, MXC, Worlds Funniest Home Videos, Dr Madblood, Cops, Lawrence Welk reruns. I wish reality T.V. would die, although I watched Surreal Life.

Books:

Eternal Champion series by Michael Moorcock. Anne Rice series , Conan series, Steel My Soldiers Hearts-Col David Hackworth, Samurai-Saburo Sakai, Band of Brothers=Steven Ambrose/Dick Winters, Hothouse-Brian Aldiss,Geek Love, The Borribles, Rise and Fall of the Third Riech. Joe Matt comics and other Drawn and Quarterly issues. I love to read.

Heroes:

My Dad, who was merchant seaman, my Mama who raised me. War Veterans. My friends and relatives who have pulled themselves up by their own bootstraps to get by and/or move up. Anyone who can make a living doing something they enjoy.

Here's some things that have been on my mind as of late. My mind doesn't hold much so I figured I'd get em on here before they disappear altogether.  There is a commercial on T.V. for the Swiffer...

Another band I'm gonna be sick of

The Killers. It's seems everytime I pick up a magazine, watch T.V. read the paper, I'm having this band shoved down my throat. It follows in the tradition of Coldplay, Evanescence, Papa Roach and on a...
